Your document has to be a PDF-file format (Portable Document Format) to upload it. If your idea is in a file format other than PDF you may convert your document to PDF using one of the options below.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Your PDF must meet the following requirements when uploading:
\n1. Your file must be unsecured.
\n2. You need portrait view. See below. <\/p>\n

\nOption 2: save your Word-file as a PDF-file in Microsoft Word<\/strong>
\nYou can use the Microsoft Office-programs to save your files as PDFs.
\nClick the File tab. In the \u2018File Name\u2019 field, type or select a name for the document. In the Save as type list, click PDF (*.pdf) instead of Word-document. Click \u2018Save\u2019. Your document is now saved as a PDF-file.

Option 3: use an online converter<\/strong>
\nSeveral programs and websites are available on the Internet which can convert a file to a PDF-file. The website Doc2PDF.net<\/a> will convert files to PDFs within minutes, free of charge.

\nSave your file in portrait view<\/strong>
\nIf you want to upload your file, sometimes this message appears: <\/p>\n

\u2018The file could not be uploaded. Please verify that your document is not protected, has a pdf version of 1.4 or lower and is in portrait view\u2019.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\nPowerpoint presentations often have a \u2018Landscape\u2019 view. What to do now?
\n1.\tSave your PowerPoint as a PDF file.
\n2.\tClick \u2018Options\u2019.
\n3.\tSelect \u00b4Handouts\u00b4 instead of \u00b4Slides\u00b4.
\n4.\tChoose the number of slides per page. Make sure your document is readable, so not too many slides per page. <\/p>\n

\nSave your PDF-file in ‘Portrait\u2019-view (standing) instead of ‘Landscape\u2019 (lying)<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can do this by downloading the application CutePDF Writer. This application installs itself as ‘Print option\u2019 in applications like Adobe Reader, Microsoft Word etc. Click here<\/a> and click on the right on ‘Free download\u2019.<\/p>\n

Press ‘Perform\u2019 (uitvoeren), ‘Next\u2019, ‘I accept the agreement\u2019. Note the checked boxes in the following screens. If you don\u2019t turn these checks off, a search bar, a home page and a few tabs will be installed. If you don\u2019t want this, then make sure the checked boxes aren\u2019t checked.
\nPress the ‘Decline’-button when the screen about Simplifast pops up. This application has nothing to do with the application CutePDF Writer, which we need to change your files into PDF. Lastly press ‘Install\u2019. CutePDF Writer will be installed.

\nAfter installing CutePDF Writer, the application is integrated as a print option. Open the relevant document.
