Decorated wallpaper and the shape of a chair for example, can both have design rights protection. A design shall receive protection only insofar as the design is novel and has individual character. The appearance of a product or a part of a product shall be regarded as a design. The exclusive right to a design shall be acquired by registration of the filing with the competent authorities. <\/p>\n<p>The development of a model is usually very time consuming and energy-draining. It is very usefull to register predesigns with CC Proof.
